Its Mardi Gras season and if you wish to continue the party for another week, be sure to head to Brisbane for Big Gay Day 05.
Itfs the weekend after Mardi Gras (Sunday March 13th) and Brisbane is set to explode! On Sunday March 13th there will be live performances by Tina Cousins (Direct from the UK), Candi Stratton (and dancers!) doing "A tribute to Cher" and Michal Nicolas (Direct from Sydney).
Expect the usual 8,000 or so attendances and an outstanding days music with Mark Alsop (Syd), Neroli (Bris),Sveta (Syd), Les Smith (Bris) headlining an ensemble of 11 deejays! There will be pumpinf House music on the main stage and Level One of the Wickham will feature Retro.
This event is held at the Wickham hotel (Brisbane) and surroundings and hosted by Miss Synthetique and Special Guests from 12 midday until 11.00 pm.
Ticket Price is $10 on the gate only. $3.50 from each entry goes to the Gay & Lesbian Welfare Association (GLWA | Telephone Counselling) & P-flag (Parents & Friends of Lesbians & Gays)

It’s the Australia Day celebration for the slightly or completely furry! Harbour City Bears presents Advance Australia Fur at T2, Taylor Square on Tuesday 25th Jan from 9pm. My set starts at 10.00pm till 3.00am close.
If you missed the HCB Mardi Gras party last year then this is a definite must! A fully gay male event that is uplifting in spirit and definitely a night to party hard.

Having finished a successful Queens Birthday weekend in Melbourne and Brisbane, its off to the tropical weather of Noumea. The Mocambo Club will see an exclusive two night performance by Mark Alsop on June 20th and 21st. Mocambo is situated in the picturesque Baie des Citrons.

Sunday 13th July sees the 43rd Queensball in Brisbane. This party is highly acclaimed and this years theme is Western! So, dig out your chaps, cowboy hats and sheriffs badge for a night of spectacular fun and entertainment. QBB Awards at 9.00pm sharp, with the dance party commencing at 10.30 in the main arena.
DJ Mark Alsop appearing for the main set in the Arena, with ISH and Brad Adams. Headlining dance act ATLAS also direct from Sydney (Hot off the heals of their Sydney mardi gras performance).

Wed.28.Apr.04 - 'Leather Fair Day @ Prince Alfred Park on 9th May 2004.'
For third spectacular year running, the fair will be musically enhanced by Sandy Hotrod and Mark Alsop. Last year the Leather Fair drew a crowd of 3,500 people. This year the Fair will be bigger with the very popular beer garden plus all day entertainment, contests, leather supplies, food stalls, community groups and something special for mum as it falls on Mother's Day. Leather Person of The Year will be announced on the day.
Fri.23.Apr.04 - 'Mark Alsop to hit play "Winterdaze" in Melbourne'
Another interstate appearance, this time in Melbourne! "Winterdaze" will be held on the Saturday night of the Queens Birthday Long weekend (June 12th 2004). Held in the three-level venue QBH. The interior will be transformed into a thumping tribal space. The DJ box will be housed in a five-metre tepee with dream-catchers suspended from the ceiling. Plenty of feathers, war-paint , chaps and leather pouches will adorn this party!

Listen out for the airwaves generating from the newest radio show starting on BEAT FM 87.6 in Sydney, scheduled to start on Sunday May 2nd, 4.00pm-7.00pm. I will be presenting a weekly show concentrating on promoting the newest in dance music releases from around the world.

Sun.14.Mar.04 - 'Mark Alsop MA15+ 2004 site relaunched'
With 2004 comes the all-new MA15+ web site. Once again net:moshon has excelled at creating a site that is both easy to navigate and load. Gone are the blue skies and green grass of the 2002 design to make way for a grungy urban feel. The site is now more personal and reflective of my career. New sections include a weekly top 20 playlist, a gallery of photos, and the "just breaking" news section.
